Criminy Jones & The Lost Book of Spells - chapter 1 Another foggy day, Criminy Jones thought as she looked out the window. But was it every day in the town of Bad Docks? "Sad day," shouted Lorre the parrot from his perch, who always speaks the truth, but only when he wants to. "Undoubtedly!" Criminy responded. A knock on the door broke the boredom. It was the witch called Hildegard, an ancient witch and a bit crazy. "My favorite spell book is missing from the library!" "Did you ask the librarian about the lost spell book?" "Yes!" "And, did you ask the police?" "Yes!" "And, when did it disappear?" "Since yesterday and before dawn." Criminy thinks. Hildegard often talks crazy, but also, she was friendly and helpful. Once, Hildegard gave Criminy a health potion. And again, she gave a good luck necklace. "Yes, I will search for the lost spell book. This afternoon." "Thank you!"

◊  In the peaceful and colorful forest, where flowers dance with the wind and trees whisper ancient secrets, lives Anina, a cheerful girl, with her little black dog, Willa. Willa is not any ordinary dog; in the forest, she is known as The Detective Dog, and she has the peculiar ability to talk to animals when no humans are around. One sunny day, while Willa is enjoying the scent of flowers and the warm embrace of the sun, a squirrel named Gael approaches her, clearly distressed. Some of her precious nuts have disappeared, and she has no idea who could have taken them. "Where are my nuts?" she asks in desperation. With her adventurous spirit and loyal heart, Willa decides to assist Gael. She begins to inspect the area, looking for clues and interviewing the forest's inhabitants. She talks to Lupo, the old and wise wolf; Mimi, the skunk; and various birds fluttering from branch to branch. Following a trail of nutshells, Willa arrives at an old hollow tree. There, she finds

Chapter 4 The Unforsaken Village (conclusion) The story continues.... Eldrin, with a knowing smile, produced a small vial containing a shimmering powder. "This," he said, "is a potion of flight, a rare concoction that grants the gift of flight to any creature, but only for a single night. The task, however, demands great strength and agility, for guiding Santa's sleigh is no simple feat." Señor Snappy's eyes lit up with excitement. "I will do it!" he declared. "With my strength and Don Eduardo's guidance, we shall deliver the gifts to Hawthwaite!" Don Eduardo nodded in agreement, his face alight with the thrill of the impending adventure. "Together, we shall ensure that the spirit of Christmas reaches every child in Hawthwaite." With care, Eldrin sprinkled the magical powder over Señor Snappy. The effect was instantaneous; a radiant glow enveloped him, and his body lifted slightly off the ground, hovering with a newfound lig

The room was adorned with maps of the world, lists that seemed to stretch endlessly, and a large, comfortable chair in which Santa sat, a look of mild concern on his jolly face. Don Eduardo, ever the gentleman, wasted no time in addressing the matter that had brought them to this far corner of the world. "Santa, we come seeking answers. For several years now, the children of Hawthwaite have been bereft of your Christmas visit. Is there a reason they have been forsaken?" Santa's face grew somber, his usual mirth dimming. "Ah, Don Eduardo, Señor Snappy, it pains me deeply to hear such words. The children of Hawthwaite are dear to me, as are all children. There was an unfortunate incident of bullying a few years back, but that's long been resolved. No, the truth is far more mundane, I'm afrai

His powerful legs pushed through the deep snow, pulling the sled with unwavering determination. Atop the sled, Don Eduardo, wrapped in furs, gazed out at the endless white landscape, a look of awe and respect for nature's untamed beauty etched on his face. As night fell, the sky transformed into a canvas of vibrant colors. The Northern Lights danced overhead, casting an ethereal glow over the icy wilderness. Señor Snappy paused, allowing Don Eduardo to marvel at the spectacle. “Señor Snappy, have you ever seen anything so magnificent?” Don Eduardo asked, his voice filled with wonder. “Only in dreams, Don Eduardo,” replied Señor Snappy, his eyes reflecting the kaleidoscope of colors above. Their moment of awe was abruptly shattered when the sled lurched violently, tipping towards a hidden crevasse. Don Eduardo was th
